Nominee: Person who will receive your data.

Trusted Contact: Person who can request access to your vault.

• Your wife → Nominee
• Your friend → Trusted contact (who triggers access)

To ensure your vault works correctly in emergency:

• Add all important assets (bank, crypto, property).
• Upload documents (policies, papers, proofs).
• Assign nominees to assets/documents.
• Add at least 1 trusted contact.
• Enable emergency access and set delay.

⚠️ If you skip any of these, vault transfer may not work properly.

Vault access happens only in these situations:

• Trusted contact sends access request.
• You approve OR remain inactive.
• Waiting period (unlock delay) is completed.

After that:

• A secure vault link is generated.
• Link works for limited time (24 hours).
• Link can be used only once.

Rahul stores his:

• Bank details
• Insurance documents

He sets:

• Wife as nominee
• Friend as trusted contact
• Unlock delay = 7 days

In emergency:

• Friend requests access
• Rahul does not respond
• After 7 days → vault unlocks
• Wife gets access to assets & documents

You stay in control at all times:

• You can approve/reject access requests.
• You can reset inactivity using “I’m Alive”.
• You can change delay anytime.

• Each access link is one-time use.
• Only assigned nominees see data.
• All access is logged and trackable.
